As it seeks the warmth off bright vermilion
Little bud begins to bloom...
A transparent curtain drops
As the starving pupil learns-
to read Your vision.
And into its tiny world, intrudes Your universe
Sweetened with luke warm milk,
Glossy with lazy silk,
Red with Autumn rose,
Cozy with granny's prose,
Mystic with fairy tales,
Glittering with silver vales...
And the little lies vie-
for a neverland
in the vision of that old child...
Tiny droplets of crystal tears-
Coalesce into sublime azure
Where fairies sprinkle mad showers
of jubilant rains,
Purple-tinted with blooming pains...
Receding lanes....
And the sailor sails through-
Trillions of tiny waves
of VIBGYOR dreams,
As the fearful voyage through the crimson white
Harbors at Your glowing black.....
The little bud finally blooms
into a thorny red
Autumn Rose....

oh this was very dreamy...nice one shot!
Definitely dreamy, and with sensory aspects to the lines that make your poem a joy to read. cheers
Vivid imagery, yet surreal!
What are truths and what are lies, are lies for telling truths and truth sometimes a lie and is it always hidden in the obvious spiral of the universe or a red autumn rose?
That's what I read into this tale, now tell me if it's truth
Beautiful imagery... love the thorny red Autumn rose in the end.
The veil of our senses and all earthly attachments shrouds our vision, and we are into those gallant lies that are all, put together, the absolute truth of our life..pain or joy..these are all attractive lies..behind all these weeps our conscience and the truth of the universe still hidden to us...like the beauty of the red Autumn rose..though beautiful.. yet thorny for sure.. :)
The bud is the truth.. like a child's eye.. pure innocent.. and true..
But the rose isn't, however beautiful it might look superficially...though we have every right to be amazed at its beauty.. :)
I don't know why but the poet in me fancies wavering between the skin and the spirit...

Beautiful. You had me at vermilion.
very beautiful!
A colorful poem with lies that vie, images of a red autumn rose, yet all is not as it seems to be,

Your writing is rich with the color of metals and stones, which happen to be my first love. Gorgeous!

I truly enjoyed this perspective. As a mother I often try and look through my kids eyes and this was a nice take on that. Thank you

"old child" Very nice.
Brilliant emotions :)
I liked the phrase "Sweetened with luke warm milk"--a nice touch. Thanks for sharing this one in the rally!
Beautiful poem! You capture the mood so well! Your imagery and symbols are beautiful and so effective in capturing childhood and growing up, well done.

Really great vision.
Bud is great as it is innocent, but flowers being tender need thorns around.
There is lot of beauty in full blown flowers.
wow beautiful poem :)

A dreamlike sense of fairytale, but an important message. Well written. And we do buy into illusion and lies.
